I speak as a young man who has had the privilege to grow up in a neighbourhood which upholds the ideals of Pan Africanism in a world where cultural tensions run deep.Yeoville is a miniature version of a cosmopolitan city, where different African nationalities reside alongside each other, but the voices of african immigrants have been silenced by negative stereotypes.The hotel yeoville project has been a helping hand in that it gives "US" a voice and a platform to share our stories.Now we can finally appreciate each other as africans and acknowledge our differences in a positive light.I must say that its timing was right-THE 2010 WORLD CUP.It has been inspirational and it has redifined my concept of diversity.Thank you for this great project it has finally given us a VOICE!!
