To most people, Jo'burg is a beacon of hope. They expect job opportunities, business opportunities, or even to find someone to love and with whom to make familes. Sadly, some people are just here to do crime and to devastate other people's lives.

It is imperative that we embrace the Rand City, that we live in peace, treat others with respect and hold on to our values as a society. In that way we are creating a space for others to feel at home and welcome. We all want to succeed in life and we must think for others too. To all fellow South African it is uncalled for and unfortunate that we become hostile and xenophobic to foreign nationals. Try to think how would you feel if it were you or your family who was experiencing how they are often expected.
